Today, was our 1 yr. anniversary and to say that today far exceeded any of my exceptions would be a HUGE understatement!! God literally rocked my world today and I think we all caught a glimpse of what God is doing in and through Pine Ridge Church. I believe today was just a small glimpse of what God has planned for us!!
Things started off pretty crazy this morning – before the 9:00 am service – I noticed things seemed A LOT more crazy than normal – then I heard we had hit an all-time high in attendance for that service. Once I heard that I knew it was going to be a crazy day – because we were Grillin’ & Chillin’ after the 10:30 am service and I knew we were going to packed to the walls from all of the people that were planning to stay for that event.
After the 9am service – I was walking back to my office and I caught of glimpse of the children’s check-in area – I had never seen so many people in that area before. All I was thinking about was what kind of trouble we were going to be in if the Fire Marshall caught wind of this! 
Anyways, I walked out to speak at the 10:30 service and I was completely blown away. We weren’t just packed to the walls – we had used every chair that we could possibly fit in that place – there wasn’t even one single seat available – there were people standing all over the room – and there were over 40 people watching the service out in the cafe’ and atrium areas – because we couldn’t fit them in the room.
Two years ago – prior to starting this church – I journaled several goals that I had for Pine Ridge Church. To date God has far exceeded everything I had written down. I looked back at the journal last week and saw the goal for our 1 yr. anniversary. My goal was to have 500 of our own people at our 1 yr. anniversary services. I was utterly speechless to learn that today it happened!! God is truly amazing!!
Today was another God-sized day as we once again watched God continue to unleash and unveil his awesome will on this county through this church. For some reason – God has chosen this church – at this time – to be a tool – to reach people that are far from Him.
As I have been the leader of this movement – I have continued to do my best to just hold onto the reigns as He steers us in the right direction. As we continue down the path He has paved for us – I believe we will only continue to see the mighty hand of God move if we choose to never alter from His course.
Our 1st year has been nothing short of one God-sized super natural event after another. The crazy part for me as I try to comprehend all that has happened – is realizing that all of this happened in just a year. I mean our story has literally just begun – only chapter 1 has been written – there is still an entire story – an entire masterpiece left in the hands of the author and the originator of this story. How freaking awesome is that?
I have no doubt that the best is yet to come for Pine Ridge Church and all of you that call this place home…thanks to all of you for making today such a tremendous success!
