I just came in the house – it’s 8:30 pm and I have been outside building on my deck since 8:00 am this morning. The only breaks I took were to buy more screws at Lowe’s and for dinner. To say that I am wiped out would be a HUGE understatement!
Let me tell you – I am flat-out EXHAUSTED – my back is killing me from being bent over all day and even though I wore knee pads – my knees are raw and they are also killing me!! I will probably still be limping on Sunday.
I know – I know – there we A LOT of you that volunteered to give me a hand – I am bad about asking people for help. I did the job loan wolf – other than my dad and father-in-law helping me frame the deck and get it all squared up. I should of got some help – would of cut my time in half!
Anyways, I have one board left and some trimming to do and then I am DONE! Next weekend – I will be building my storage shed. I never knew I was a handy man – okay well I am not – but I am just too cheap to pay someone else to do it – so I am determined to figure it out as I go!!
I am glad it’s supposed to rain the rest of the weekend – that way I will STOP – my OCD won’t allow me to quit!! Now, I am calling it a night and I am going to crash!
Have a great weekend! – Don’t forget my HEELS play tomorrow night against Kansans – one more team to go before we head to the National Championship – oh yeah my boy Hansbrough won AP Player of the Year today as well – he continues to DOMINATE! Don’t mess with my boys! GO HEELS!!
