It’s Thursday morning and I am back in the office! Me and Becki, took a few days off, since she is on spring break, and hit a bed and breakfast on Bald Head Island. Man, we had a blast – it’s the first time we have gotten away since we started the church and probably the last time we will be able to get away before our boy enters the world. It was nice to get away from it all for a few days, clear my head, get recharged, and focus on Becki. It was nice to cut off the cell phone, turn off the email, and spend some quality time with her – I need to make a point to do that more often!!
We didn’t really do a whole lot the three days we were gone – other than cruise around the island in a golf cart, hike a few trails, climb “old baldy”, eat, and relax – to say it was very much needed would be a HUGE understatement. I feel so refreshed and renewed and after coming off of the craziest weekend in the the history of our church – that was just what the doctor ordered!
